Abstract

Die Konjunkturumfragen vom Februar zeigen zwar sowohl für Deutschland als auch für Österreich eine Verbesserung der Stimmung, jedoch steht das internationale wirtschaftliche und politische Umfeld nach wie vor einem Aufschwung entgegen. Die Unsicherheiten über eine militärische Auseinandersetzung mit dem Irak und die bereits im Vorfeld erhebliche Erdölverteuerung belasten die Weltkonjunktur. Im Euro-Raum erschweren die Schwäche der Binnennachfrage und der hohe Euro-Kurs eine Erholung zusätzlich.
