Rückgang der Bauproduktion verstärkt Konjunkturabschwung

Abstract

Die Sachgüterproduktion erzielte bis zum Frühjahr hohe Zuwächse, wurde dann aber vom internationalen Konjunkturabschwung erfasst. Im II. Quartal stagnierte die Produktion von Industrie und Gewerbe auf dem Vorjahresniveau. Wesentlich ungünstiger ist die Konjunkturlage in der Bauwirtschaft: Der Produktionswert des Hoch- und Tiefbaus blieb weit unter dem Vorjahresniveau (–6½%). Auf dem Arbeitsmarkt zeigen sich bereits deutliche Effekte der Konjunkturabschwächung. Die Arbeitslosenquote lag im August mit 6% um 0,4 Prozentpunkte über dem Vorjahresniveau.
