Abstract

Der vorliegende Artikel faßt den im Rahmen des Programms "tip – Technologie: Information, Politikberatung" erstellten "Österreichischen Technologiebericht 1997" zusammen. Der Technologiebericht bietet einen Überblick über Fakten und Zusammenhänge im österreichischen Innovationssystem in internationaler Perspektive. Er dient als Informationsquelle für die technologiepolitische Standortbestimmung und wendet sich an die Akteure des Innovationssystems aus Wirtschaft, Forschung, Politik und Verwaltung sowie an die an Fragen der Technologiepolitik interessierte Öffentlichkeit.
