Sinkende Abwanderung, Investitionsboom im Agrarsektor trotz Einkommensverlusten. Entwicklung der Land- und Forstwirtschaft 1997 in den Bundesländern

Abstract

1997 war gemessen am Rohertrag und an der Bruttowertschöpfung ein gutes Agrarjahr. Die Agrareinkommen sanken allerdings – nach dem Einbruch 1996 – weiter, weil die Direktzahlungen gekürzt wurden. Regional war die Entwicklung durch besonders große Unterschiede zwischen den Erträgen aus der Forstwirtschaft und aus dem Weinbau geprägt. Salzburg, das Burgenland, Kärnten, Tirol und Vorarlberg steigerten ihren agrarischen Rohertrag 1997 überdurchschnittlich. Die oberösterreichische Land- und Forstwirtschaft expandierte etwa durchschnittlich, die steirische stagnierte. In Niederösterreich und Wien blieb die agrarische Endproduktion knapp unter dem Vorjahreswert.
