Regionale Problemlagen infolge der EU-Integration der MOEL

Abstract

Die regionalen Auswirkungen der EU-Osterweiterung werden vor dem Hintergrund problemspezifischer Strukturregionen diskutiert. Für Großstädte, Verdichtungsregionen und ländliche Grenzgebiete gelten unterschiedliche Ausgangsbedingungen im Hinblick auf Intensität und zeitliche Abfolge der Integrationsfolgen. Dementsprechend sollten die Vorbereitungsstrategien im Rahmen einer offensiven Strukturpolitik regional differenziert werden. Hingegen erscheint zur Eindämmung der negativen Effekte auf den regionalen Güter- und Arbeitsmärkten eine Differenzierung der Defensivmaßnahmen nicht zweckmäßig.
