Abstract

1995 war nur noch jede 20. Arbeitskraft hauptberuflich in der Land- und Forstwirtschaft tätig, 25 Jahre zuvor noch jede 7. Die jährliche Abnahmequote des Arbeitskräftebestands hatte bis 1990 sinkende Tendenz. Seit 1991 hat sich die Abwanderung aber kräftig beschleunigt. Immer mehr potentielle Betriebsnachfolger erlernen nach der Pflichtschule einen nichtlandwirtschaftlichen Beruf, den sie auch nach der Hofübergabe beibehalten.
