Beschäftigungspolitik in kleinen, offenen Volkswirtschaften der EU

Abstract

Die mittelfristigen Wachstumsaussichten für Europa lassen derzeit einen markanten Rückgang der Arbeitslosigkeit nicht erwarten. Arbeitslosigkeit bleibt somit eines der zentralen Probleme der europäischen Wirtschaftspolitik. Obwohl wichtige Politikinitiativen aufgrund der engen Integration der Volkswirtschaften primär auf europäischer Ebene gesetzt werden müssen, verfügen auch die kleinen, offenen Volkswirtschaften über Handlungsspielraum. So setzen Dänemark auf ein Karenzmodell, die Niederlande auf Teilzeitarbeit und Invaliditätspensionen und Schweden auf aktive Arbeitsmarktpolitik.
