Baukonjunktur erholt sich in Europa langsam

Abstract

Trotz der gesamtwirtschaftlichen Erholung kam die Bautätigkeit 1994 in Westeuropa nur langsam in Schwung. Die reale Produktion erreichte im Jahre 1993 die Talsohle, stieg 1994 um 1,3% und wird 1995 um 1,8% zunehmen. Vor allem der Wohnungsneubau und der Modernisierungssektor entwickeln sich günstig. Hingegen werden die öffentlichen Infrastruktur- und Tiefbauinvestitionen 1995 wegen der hohen Budgetdefizite in den meisten westeuropäischen Ländern kaum zunehmen. Nach der langen Talfahrt erholt sich der Wirtschafts- und Industriebau 1995 wieder. In Ost-Mitteleuropa vollzog sich 1994 eine Trendwende in der Bauwirtschaft. 1995 wird die reale Produktion in Polen, Ungarn und Tschechien bereits um 4½% bis 6½% wachsen.
