Weiterhin zurückhaltende Investitionstätigkeit. Ergebnisse des Investitionstests vom Herbst 1993

Abstract

Die Investitionen der Gesamtwirtschaft blieben 1993 um 2,6% unter dem Vorjahresniveau. 1994 ist eine differenzierte Entwicklung zu erwarten, die Investitionen der Industrie im Inland dürften noch zurückgehen. Die hohen Auslandsinvestitionen der letzten Jahre und der Produktivitätsanstieg der heimischen Industrie stärken die Wettbewerbsposition Österreichs. Der Dienstleistungssektor investiert 1994 mehr als 1993, sodaß insgesamt ein Anstieg von 1,7% erwartet wird. Die WIFO-Befragung unter mehr als 3.000 Unternehmen in Industrie, Bauwirtschaft, Elektrizitätswirtschaft sowie Verkehrs- und Versorgungssektor sichert die Prognose ab. Während die Investitionen in der Industrie in beiden Jahren sinken, stiegen sie 1993 in der Elektrizitätswirtschaft sowie im Verkehrs- und Versorgungsbereich.
