Rückgang der Baunachfrage in Europa. Österreichs Bauproduktion erreicht Spitzenwerte

Abstract

1991 und 1992 befindet sich die Bauwirtschaft in Westeuropa auf einer Talfahrt, die vorwiegend auf die internationale Konjunkturflaute zurückzuführen ist. Nach einem kräftigen Aufschwung Ende der achtziger Jahre schrumpfte die reale Bauproduktion 1991 mit ½% und auch für 1992 ist eine Abnahme um ½% zu erwarten. Besonders ausgeprägt ging die Nachfrage im Wirtschaftsbau und im Wohnungsneubau zurück. In Europa erweist sich die Baukonjunktur Deutschlands, Österreichs und Spaniens als relativ robust. In Österreich stieg die Nachfrage 1991 im Europa-Vergleich weiterhin kräftig. Mit einem 1991 erwarteten Zuwachs des Bauvolumens um real 5% bis 5½% und 4% 1992 liegt Österreichs Bauwirtschaft derzeit im europäischen Spitzenfeld.
