Abstract

Die österreichische Konjunktur blieb bis zur Jahreswende gespalten. Das seit längerem ausgeprägte Wachstumsgefälle zwischen einzelnen Wirtschaftsbereichen hat sich eher noch verstärkt. Handelsumsätze, Bautätigkeit und Reiseverkehr ließen bis zuletzt keine Schwäche erkennen. Im Warenexport und der Industrieproduktion, die dem rezessiven Einfluß aus dem Ausland unmittelbar ausgesetzt sind, ist der Abwärtstrend vorübergehend zum Stillstand gekommen. Daß er sich in den nächsten Monaten wieder durchsetzt, ist allerdings durch die Auftragssituation und die internationale Entwicklung vorgezeichnet.
