Die Landwirtschaft im steirischen Grenzland. Probleme und Strategien für die Zukunft

Abstract

Die Landwirtschaft hat im Grenzland hohes Gewicht. Dies müssen Strategien zur Förderung der wirtschaftlichen und sozialen Entwicklung berücksichtigen. Wichtige Ansatzpunkte im Agrarsektor sind die Be- und Verarbeitung sowie die Vermarktung landwirtschaftlicher Erzeugnisse. Beihilfen an die überwiegend kleinen bäuerlichen Betriebe gewinnen für die Einkommensstützung an Bedeutung. Bisher wurde die Grenzregion von der Agrarpolitik etwas benachteiligt.
