Konsumnachfrage weiterhin robust. Zur Entwicklung des privaten Verbrauchs im 1. Halbjahr 1991

Abstract

Im Gegensatz zu den letzten Jahren und zum mittelfristigen Trend wuchsen die – sehr konjunkturreagiblen – Ausgaben für dauerhafte Konsumgüter im 1. Halbjahr 1991 nicht mehr überdurchschnittlich. Auch die Nachfrage nach Auslandsurlauben war infolge von Krisen in wichtigen Zielländern schwach. Der Einzelhandel profitierte neben der günstigen Konsumnachfrage auch von der recht lebhaften Entwicklung der Tourismuseinnahmen. Diese ist auf die Umlenkung der Reiseströme, ausgelöst durch politische Krisen und Umweltkatastrophen in anderen Reiseländern, zurückzuführen.
