Möglichkeiten der Konjunktursteuerung: Grundsätzliche Überlegungen für die Schweiz

Abstract

Die Arbeit geht zunächst auf die Herausforderungen der Makroökonomischen Theorie durch die Finanz- und Wirtschaftskrise ein, bevor die finanzpolitischenMöglichkeiten der Schweiz diskutiert werden, mit denen dieser Krise bzw. ihren Auswirkungen begegnet werden kann. Es zeigt sich, dass die Möglichkeiten hierzu stark begrenzt sind, da es sich (neben der Bankenkrise) im Wesentlichen um eine Krise bestimmter Teile der Exportwirtschaft handelt, bezüglich derer die üblichen konjunkturpolitischen Instrumente, welche die Binnennachfrage stützen sollen, unwirksam sind. Umso wichtiger ist es, dass die Schweiz bei all ihren Massnahmen die längerfristigen Wachstumsaspekte in Rechnung stellt sowie dass sie sich dafür einsetzt, dass einem Aufflackern des Protektionismus vorgebeugt wird, damit der internationale Handel offen bleibt.
