Les conséquences de l’austérité sur le niveau de vie des chômeurs dans le sud de l’Europe

Abstract

La grande récession puis la crise des dettes souveraines ont contribué à un accroissement marqué du chômage. Afin d’alléger leurs dépenses publiques, de nombreux pays d’Europe du sud ont réduit les aides aux chômeurs ce qui a dégradé leur niveau de vie relatif. Nous évaluons ici les contributions respectives de l’évolution de la composition du chômage et de leur prise en charge.
