Indexación salarial de un modelo macroeconómico con contratos traslapados

Abstract

El “trade off” entre estabilidad de producto y estabilidad de salarios, bajo condiciones de contratos traslapados, puede mejorarse si la autoridad económica fija una política de indexación salarial parcial. Esta indexación debe ser de un grado suficientemente bajo como para evitar agregar presiones adicionales a las fluctuaciones de producto y salarios ante “shock inflacionarios” y para reducir estas fluctuaciones ante “shocks deflacionarios. Adicionalmente se tiene que la imposición de una indexación salarial completa, requiere una política cambiaria de total acomodación –que permita mantener la paridad de poder de compra- si se desea evitar fluctuaciones en el producto sin demasía inestabilidad en el nivel de precios.
