Distribución individual y familiar del ingreso en Chile (1960-1969)

Abstract

El sin número de problemas de tipo económico, social y político que deben enfrentar los países latinoamericanos, hace que cada día sea más urgente conocer la estructura distributiva de los ingresos de los diversos países y los cambios que ella experimenta a través del tiempo. Este estudio, para el caso chileno, no entra en el problema de la distribución funcional del ingreso, sino que se circunscribe solamente al análisis de la distribución personal del mismo, tanto a nivel de los individuos (distribución individual) como de las familias (distribución familiar). En líneas generales, este trabajo pretende solamente entregar un panorama de tipo cuantitativo sobre lo que ha sido la distribución del ingreso en la última década, aun cuando la falta de antecedentes estadísticos no siempre hizo posible este análisis para todas las categorías deseadas. El objetivo es pues meramente de tipo descriptivo y en ningún caso de tipo analítico de la estructura distributiva de los ingresos en Chile. En este esfuerz
