Abstract

In this paper we addressed the issue of competition, emphasizing its influence on the final consumers' welfare, the main beneficiary of the competition. We studied the evolution of consumer prices and the populations income-factors favoring trade and household consumption expenditures - the mirror of the final consumers welfare in Romania in 2010.
