Abstract

Zusammenfassung In letzter Zeit wird wieder verstärkt das bedingungslose Grundeinkommen als Instrument für mehr Verteilungsgerechtigkeit diskutiert. Befürworter halten es für egalitär, liberal, individualistisch und wirtschaftlich sinnvoll. Alle vier Aspekte lassen sich jedoch widerlegen. Auch höhere Löhne bei Geringverdienern und eine Erleichterung des Strukturwandels zu einer stärker digital bestimmten Welt können mithilfe des bedingungslosen Grundeinkommens nicht erreicht werden. Ein individuelles Erwerbskonto oder ein Lebenschancenkredit, der jedem Einzelnen die Freiheit gibt, selbst über die Nutzung staatlicher Leistungen für Bildung, Qualifizierung und Zeitsouveränität zu entscheiden, würde diese Kriterien dagegen erfüllen.
