Abstract

The paper approaches a subject that has always been in the spotlight, in the attention of researchers and specialists and has always been one of the main concerns all over the world – and that is the health an well-being of humans. The World Health Organization defines the state of health as the general state of physical, mental and social well-being. It’s not just the absence of any illness that counts in this regard. In order to maintain and improve one’s state of health, we suggest a mean that is both efficient and at hand: jogging, an activity that brings benefits to physical, mental and social health. This paper covers the objectives, the characteristics and benefits that jogging brings. The paper also mentions the special methodology of this form of physical activity that has remarkable effects over the general state of health.
