Gasoline Price as Public Phenomena

Abstract

The concept of «price level» is proposed and developed. The interdependence between the price level for gasoline and the country development index is shown using the sample of 97 countries. The variations in governments’ policies of rent appropriation determine the unique features of particular countries.
