Abstract

This special issue of the Review of Network Economics is dedicated to celebrating the achievements of Professor Alfred Kahn in commemoration of his 90th birthday. The articles in this special issue examine a range of topics in the economics of regulation, antitrust and public policy, as applied to the telecommunications, electric power, and railroad and airline industries. And in the spirit of the man himself, these articles are motivated by real-world problems, 'rigorous' and yet accessible to policymakers and practitioners alike.
