Abstract

ABSTRACT This paper investigates the tendency of the foreign trade of the Andalusian region with input-output methodology. Two objectives are pursued: Firstly, the quantification and description of the trade, and secondly the detailed assessment of the highlighted results. One important conclusion could be exposed. The foreign dependence has been increasing as a consequence of growth of intermediate imports and decrease of the Andalusian exports. The structural descomposition technique is used to discover which the cause of that is, and the import multipliers are studied to conclude that the most significant changes are found in the direct import coefficients matrix.
