Abstract
ABSTRACT The purpose of this paper is to analyse the territorial degree of inequality in the province of Almería y means of the locating of the main nucleus of the development, as well as the most remote zones and with greater demographic and economic problems. With such objective, a model is proposed that is comprised of several phases. After a prior descriptive statistical study to municipal scale, applying the technique of reiterated factorial analysis, the factors that characterise intrinsic geographical and socio-economic context of the municipalities are extracted. These they are classified in the space of the factors by means of the method cluster. Also an index of development-quality of life is presented. This one offers a classification of the municipalities and permits the spatial comparison among different scales of the same one. Finally, making use of this index proceeds to the estimation of the available family income by inhabitant as indicator of the economic welfare and its comparison with the development-life quality index.Download Info
