Abstract

ABSTRACT In the recent tourism literature there is a growing attention to the analysis and engagement all stakeholders affected in destination planning, management and marketing. On the basis of Stakeholder Theory have developed a series of approaches in this line, which is also very interesting in the case of national parks as tourist destinations peculiar in that tourism becomes an important tool for economic development. This work demonstrates that its possible to identify the main stakeholders involved in the tourism development of a nature park, as well as defining the role that each plays in that process and the relationships between them. The proposed methodology has been successfully applied to the study of the network of natural parks in Andalusia, the largest of Spain.
