Fallas del mercado y del gobierno en el sector aeronáutico mexicano

Abstract

A pesar de que la eficiencia era uno de los objetivos de la política aeronáutica de México, los diseñadores de política pública no necesariamente persiguieron dicho objetivo en el periodo 2001-2012. Para evaluar el desempeño de estos agentes en la promoción de la eficiencia se propone un esquema de análisis que toma en cuenta capacidades institucionales y técnicas a través del cual se identificaron distintas fallas del mercado y del gobierno. Políticas como la liberalización internacional o la expansión de la infraestructura, acompañadas de un fortalecimiento institucional, mejorarían la eficiencia del sector.
