Abstract

[fre] Ethique versus coordination ? Une controverse autrichienne soulevée par Rothbard. . [eng] Ethics versus coordination? An austrian controversy raised by rothbard. . Rothbard's naturalist approch, developed in The Ethics of Liberty, is often set apart from the economic approch of contempory Austrian authors who insist on the question of coordination. The only aim of Rothbard's ethical discourse is seen as being the introduction of a normative defense of liberalism, quite independantly of the market's ability to ensure coordination. The argument defended in this article is that in fact both ideas are linked: Rothbard's ethical argument being at the service of coordination.
