Abstract

[fre] Evolution des individus âgés sur le marché du travail aux États-Unis : un modèle à risques concurrents. . Le travail présenté dans cet article concerne l'étude de l'évolution sur le marché du travail des individus atteignant l'âge de la retraite aux États-Unis. Il s'agit d'un travail empirique, réalisé à partir d'une enquête effectuée entre 1969 et 1979, tous les deux ans, auprès d'un échantillon de 11 153 individus, âgés de 58 à 63 ans en 1969. L'objectif de cette étude est une analyse des durées en activité à temps complet, conditionnellement à un ensemble de caractéristiques individuelles. La modélisation choisie est celle des risques concurrents qui permet de prendre en compte plusieurs issues à un état donné. Our paper is concemed with the study of changes in working status for individuals reaching the retirement age on the United States labor market. This essentially empirical work is based on panel study. The latter consist of 11153 individuals aged 58 to 63 and interviewed every two years between 1969 and 1979. The purpose of this study is to analyse the full-time work dura lions, conditional on some individual characteristics. The selected modelling is one of competing risks which allows to account for more than one issue out of a given state.
