Abstract

[eng] Are the exports of manufactured products supply of demand determined ?. . The econometric analysis of total exports of manufactured products in France shows that, in the recent years, exports have been supply determined and not demand determined. The purpose of this article is to examine the validity of that resuit at a disaggregated level (18 industrial products). An attempt is made at classifying industries according to the exports behavior that is prevailing.
