Abstract

. Classification JEL : G22 [eng] Today recent upheavals seem to damage theories stemmed from insurance and reinsurance practice which allow to document on the activity cycle. The regular past cycle may be outdated. It changes into a more divided cycle in which the price of each risk will evolve uncorrelated, area by area, risks by risks. Prices will adapt more quickly and the cycle’s amplitude will be lower than in the past. These aggregated changes would turn the past regular cycle into a superposing and a coexistence of equilibriums stemmed from frequent or risk linked discontinuities. This article explains this evolution. . JEL classification : G22 . .
