L'Europe bancaire et financière après l'euro : recommandations de l'association Eurofi 2000

Abstract

[fre] L’unification bancaire et financière européenne soulève encore de nombreuses interrogations et nécessite d’importants efforts de convergence juridiques, réglementaires, fiscaux et techniques. Or, les approches traditionnelles, fondées sur le concept de place nationale, se révèlent obsolètes. Dans ce contexte, l’association Eurofi 2000 a engagé une réflexion dégageant des positions originales favorisant l’émergence d’un marché européen des services bancaires et financiers. Eurofi 2000 recommande alors de poursuivre rapidement l’intégration des marchés bancaires et financiers européens ; d’harmoniser les cadres légaux et réglementaires, les fiscalités de l’épargne ; d’unifier les marchés financiers. Cette réflexion préconise par ailleurs, de décloisonner le marché de l’épargne et de préparer l’européanisation de la banque de détail. . Classification JEL : G18, G28
