Abstract

[eng] The diffusion of a new technology of production depends on both its own characteristics in terms of profit and technical capabilities and the general conditions for investment.. This paper aims to explicit how diffusion processes are the combined result of investment behaviours and learning processes concerning the new equipments.. Simple assumptions on the key factors relevant to opt for modern equipement, when investing, in a world of bounded rationality, lead to estimations in the case of the textile industry in a set of 16 countries.
