Abstract

[eng] When we want to analyze the structure of finance capital and relations between bank and industry, the study of interlocking directorates constitutes an indispensable stage.. The swiss example is significant of the tight union existing between financial institutions and industrial corporations. The use of graph and matric technique, particularly, allows to make clear a hierarchy into the network of interlocking directorates. Nevertheless, our study conducts us to nuance the thesis of finance capital with bank dominance. The study of interlocking directorates do not allows us to conclude that swiss banks dominate industry, but rather it exists an inequal alliance with oligarchie type because of a strong (although declining) family power.
