Abstract

[fre] Dans les espaces russe et soviétique, la société a été marquée plus profondément que nulle part ailleurs par la guerre dans la première moitié du XXe siècle. Guerre intérieure, civile et extérieure se sont combinées pour provoquer des pertes démographiques considérables, en maintenant des seuils de violence étatique et extra-étatique sans précédent. [eng] In the russian and sovietic spaces, the society has been influenced more than anywhere else by continual wars during the years 1911-1946. There was a civilian war and a war between states, with great demographic consequencies and at the same time still an unprecedent high level of political and military violence throughout the society.
