L'importance croissante des repas à l'extérieur

Abstract

[fre] En 1980, chaque ménage a dépensé en moyenne 2 600 francs pour déjeuner ou dîner hors de son domicile. Les Français consacrent une part croissante de leur budget alimentaire à des repas pris à l'extérieur : de 11,5 % en 1971, cette part passe à 13,7 % en 1980. Elle est plus forte pour les ménages jeunes, ainsi que pour les célibataires, et surtout pour les célibataires hommes. Les différentes catégories de population pratiquent inégalement les divers types de restauration hors du domicile. Ainsi, ce sont les ménages de salariés, en particulier les jeunes, qui consacrent les sommes les plus importantes aux cantines d'entreprise, et les ménages ruraux aux cantines scolaires. Le restaurant attire surtout ceux qui disposent des revenus les plus élevés. [eng] The growing importance of eating out - In 1980, each household spent an average of 2 600 francs on lunch or dinner outside of the domicile. The French devote a growing part of their food budgets to meals taken outside the home. From 11,5 % in 1971, this part increased to 13,7 % in 1980. It is greater for young households, as well as for single people, and, above all, for bachelors. Different categories of the population frequent unequally the diverse types of restaurants. Thus, it is the households of wage-earners, in particular young ones, which devote the largest sums to company canteens and rural households to school meals. Restaurants attract, above all, those who have at their disposal the highest incomes. [spa] La creciente importancia de las comidas fuera de casa - En 1980, cada hogar gastó un promedio de 2 600 francos para almorzar o cenar fuera de su domicilio. Los Franceses dedican una porción creciente de su presupuesto alimenticio a comidas fuera del hogar : de un 11,5 % en 1971, se llegó a un 13,7 % en 1980. Es de mayor importancia respecto a hogares juveniles así como con relaciôn a solteros, especialmente varones. Las diversas catagorías de población practican en forma desigual los diversos tipos de restauración fuera del domicilio. Así pues, son los hogares de asalariados, especialmente juveniles, los que dedican las cantidades mas elevadas a comedores de empresas, y los hogares rurales a cantinas escolares. El restaurante atrae mayormente a los que disfrutan los ingresos mas elevados.
