    [fre] Les sources statistiques sur l'emploi - consacre une large part de ses travaux et de ses publications à l'étude de l'emploi. La présentation qui est faite ici de l'ensemble complexe des statistiques disponibles ou en projet, est articulée sur les problèmes qui se posent dans l'effort de connaissance en ce domaine : tout d'abord, les problèmes de définition, c'est-à-dire des concepts fondamentaux d'emploi, de chômage et d'inactivité; ensuite les lacunes actuelles des statistiques en matière de population active occupée; les efforts à poursuivre pour mieux apprécier l'intensité de l'emploi et la durée du travail; les répartitions les plus fines possibles de l'emploi, du chômage et de l'inactivité selon divers critères géographiques, démographiques et professionnels; enfin la prise en compte de la dimension temporelle, la mesure des flux, notamment ceux qui relient l'emploi à la formation. Chacun des problèmes ainsi évoqués permet de situer les différentes sources qui peuvent aider à les résoudre, dont les principales sont décrites dans les « encadrés ». [eng] Occupation statistical sources - An important part of INSEE's works and publications deals with occupation. The complex set of statistics either available or in project presented here, deals with the problems which arise when aiming to go deeply into this field : first of all, problems of definition (i.e. occupation, unemployment and inactivity's basic concepts); then the current gaps in statistics dealing with occupied active population; the constant endeavour leading to a better estimate of employment and hours of work; the most accurate distribution possible regarding occupation, unemployment and inactivity according to several geographic, demographic and professionnal criteria; finally, taking into account the temporal dimension, the size of flows, namely those which connect occupation with training. Each of these problems, thus called forth, allows establishing the different sources which can assist solving them, whose leading ones are described in the « inserts ». [spa] Las fuentes estadísticas relativas a empleo - El INSEE dedica al estudio del empleo una parte importante de sus trabajos y publicaciones. Va presentado aqui el conjunto complejo de las estadîsticas disponibles o en proyecto que enfocan los problemas planteados por el intento de conocer en sus pormenores ese terreno : en primer lugar, los problemas relativos a definición, o sea conceptos fundamentals de empleo, paro forzoso e inactividad; luego, las lacunas que en la actualidad presentan las estadísticas referentes a población activa ocupada; los esfuerzos que han de proseguirse con objeto de llegaraunamejor apreciación de la intensidad del empleo y de las horas trabajadas; la distribución lo más pormenorizada posible respecto a empleo, desempleo e inactividad según diversos criterios geográficos, demográficos y profesionales; fînalmente, el tener presente la dimension temporal, la medida de los flujos, en particular los que conectan el empleo con la formación profesional. Cada uno de los problemas antecitados permiten situar las diversas fuentes que pueden facilitar los medios aptos para resolverlos, cuyas principales fuentes van resenadas en los « recuadros ».
