Abstract
Unlike other donations, donations between spouses are essentially revocable, regardless of the form in which they were made. In this regard, the Civil code provides rules derogating from the general rules applicable to donations. Donation between spouses becomes irrevocable only by the death of the donor spouse, due to the fact that it is an exclusive and personal rights of the donor and may not be exercised by his heirs or creditors. The article also treats the problem regarding the donation of organs and whether revocability can be accepted in this situation.
