Abstract

Entre 1969 y 1980 el Gobierno militar peruano emprendió una de las ma- yores reformas agrarias recientes del mundo. Se puede distinguir diferentes vías de transición a la agricultura capitalista, así como diferentes tipos de reforma agraria. Se analiza la reforma agraria peruana dentro de este contexto, y se eva- lúa en términos de su contribución al desarrollo rural. La reforma agraria perua- na tiene un carácter paradójico y único -el Gobierno militar implantó una refor- ma colectivista para desarrollar y fortalecer el sistema capitalista.
