Abstract

Olivier Hoedeman argues that in the last 10 years corporations have lobbied successfully to greenwash much of their activities. They maintain that a serious assessment would clearly reveal how the unjust and unsustainable global economic system that has emerged in this process is a fundamental obstacle to solving the global environmental and social crisis. Development (2002) 45, 39–42. doi:10.1057/palgrave.development.1110376
