Abstract

Ellen 't Hoen reports on the Médecins Sans Frontières' push in Seattle to ensure that the WTO recognizes that public health takes priority over trade. Their aim is to work within WTO to consider the impact of trade policies on people in developing and least developed countries, and provide a public health framework for the interpretation of key features of WTO agreements.
