Geschlechtsspezifische Entgeltunterschiede bei Führungskräften in Stiftungen – Ergebnisse einer empirischen Untersuchung

Abstract

Researchers presume a gender pay gap in nonprofit organizations. The paper is based on 162 cases collected with full-time managers in German foundations. The data proves that women in executive boards are payed less than men although their environment and individual features are the same. The salary assessment is based on gender-specific criteria. There is a distinct gender pay gap among board members wheras female managing directors are not affected.
