Le soft power chinois : entre stratégie d’influence et affirmation de puissance

Abstract

Officialisée depuis le XVII e Congrès du Parti Communiste Chinois en 2007, la stratégie de soft power de la Chine s’articule autour d’une intense promotion de la Chine, dans ses aspects culturels et diplomatiques notamment, mais aussi d’une affirmation de puissance de plus en plus décomplexée. Pékin utilise ainsi le concept de Joseph Nye comme un outil au service de ses ambitions internationales. Cet article analyse les différentes interprétations du soft power en Chine, les stratégies adoptées et leurs implications sur la montée en puissance de ce pays sur la scène internationale.
