Les Violences ethniques de juin 2010 au Kirghizstan : l’identité manipulée

Abstract

Cet article analyse les causes et les enjeux des violences survenues au sud du Kirghizstan en juin 2010. Si le conflit a rapidement pris une tournure ethnique, son déclenchement fut lié au contexte politique et socioéconomique du pays, au lendemain du renversement du président Bakiev et à la veille d’un référendum constitutionnel visant à parlementariser la vie politique du Kirghizstan. C’est bien le lien complexe qui existe entre l’exercice du pouvoir politique et la lutte pour le contrôle des richesses économiques du pays qui permet d’expliquer la manipulation de l’ethnicité dans le but prémédité de déstabiliser le Kirghizstan.
