The Management Structure of a Production Association
AbstractThe (July 1979) decree of the Central Committee of the CPSU and the USSR Council of Ministers, on improving the economic mechanism, articulated the general long-term policy of raising the level of planning and management in accordance with the demands of the present stage - the stage of developed socialism. At the November (1981) Plenum of the Central Committee of the CPSU, L. I. Brezhnev noted that it is essential "to improve economic management and the economic mechanism. Solving these problems is an integral part of the party's political and theoretical work. No little amount of work has been done to improve the management of the economy. However, the economy does not stand still. The system of interbranch and intrabranch relations grows in volume and complexity. Therefore the harmoniousness of the work of all national economic links becomes an ever more important condition for the effectiveness of the economy."
