AbstractAcademician L. V. Kantorovich, distinguished Soviet scientist and head of the task force for economic-mathematical methods and operations research at the Institute for the Management of the National Economy, and Professor T. Koopmans, an American specialist in mathematical economics, were awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics in 1975 for their contribution to the theory of optimal resource utilization. >u>Literary Gazette>/u> [Literaturnaia gazeta] correspondent O. Moroz met with Academician Kantorovich and asked him to answer several questions.
