The Divorce at the Notary Public or at the Registrar of the Civil Status

Abstract

In 2010 there has been elaborated a law on certain measures in order to accelerate solving the trials. This law is called the Littler reform of Justice – Law 202/2010 it regulates and brings new measures in the Code of Civil Procedure, the Code of Criminal Procedure, amendaments of some Governmental Ordinances and also the Emergency Governmental Ordinances, but other laws, too. In art. II – Law no. 4/1953 – Family Code three articles have been modified and completed that i sart. 37, art. 38, and art. 39 some paragraphs being changed or other new one introduced. Shortly, it is about the possibility the spouses have to have their marriage dissolved by another means than the one known until now that is the court of law. The law maker has also introduced the possibility for the two spouses to get divorced at the Notary Public or at the registrar of the Civil Status.
