Abstract

Last decades qualitative variables have been introduced in the economic growth analysis. The improvement of statistical information has favored this task. Recently, “entrepreneurship” concept has been considered in this type of analysis. Entrepreneurship considers the capacity and ability to create new business and production activity. It is an activity not an occupation that has relevant effects on economic growth. It is necessary to create an adequate social climate to enhance individuals to create business activity. The main goal of this paper is to analyze the relationship between entrepreneurship and economic growth taking also into account ethical topics. We will also develop an empirical analysis of the relationship between entrepreneurship, economic growth and other economic growthenhancing variables.
