Abstract

This article shows the necessary role that entrepreneurship plays in the economic growth theories. From a macroeconomic point of view, the paper tackles the meaning and content of entrepreneurship distinguishing between the “firm” factor (Entrepreneurial Structure) and the “entrepreneur” factor (Entrepreneurial function). Within last one the three functional components are analysed: financing function, management function and booster function.
