Abstract

A kísérletezés története meglehetősen eltérő a közgazdaságtanban, illetve a menedzsmenttudományokban. Míg a közgazdászok többsége egészen a legutóbbi időkig bizalmatlansággal - ha nem gyanakvással - tekintett a kísérletekre, a menedzsmenttudományok művelői változatos módokon aknázták ki a bennük rejlő empirikus lehetőségeket. Mára azonban mintha az ökonómia is kezdene a kísérletek felé fordulni. Nem lebecsülendő annak az esélye, hogy a tudományos kísérletek segítségével áthidalhatóvá válik a szakadék, amely ma még elválasztja egymástól - mind módszertanilag, mind az elméleti gondolkodást tekintve - a közgazdaságtant és a menedzsmenttudományokat. E cikk azt vizsgálja, miként jött létre ez az elszigeteltség, s hogyan válhat a kísérletezés a közeledés egyik mozgatórugójává. Journal of Economic Literature (JEL) kód: B41, B52, C90, M10.
