A népesség, a gazdasági aktivitás és a nemzetközi migráció távlatai Magyarországon, 1950-2050

Abstract

A gazdasági aktivitás, illetve a foglalkoztatás előrejelzése arra a feltételezésre épült, hogy a népesség nemek és korcsoportok szerinti gazdasági aktivitásának tendenciái összefüggnek a gazdaság fejlettséggel. Így a fejlettebb országok különböző csoportjainak nemzetközi tendenciái alapján előrejelzés készíthető a követő jellegű Magyarország népességének jövőbeli aktivitására. Az elmúlt fél évszázad tényadatai alapján készült függvények segítségével három variánsban becsültük a magyarországi gazdasági aktivitást a következő ötven évre. A cikk csak a közepes változatot mutatja be. A népesség számának prognosztizált csökkenése miatt 2020-tól folyamatosan emelkedő bevándorlási többlettel számoltunk. A férfiak gazdasági aktivitása 2050-re éppen csak elérné az EU-tagországok mai minimumát; a nőké valamivel e felett lenne. A foglalkoztatottak számának kisebb növekedése után létszámuk a század közepén nagyjából a jelenlegi szintre állna vissza. A szerzők végül felhívják a figyelmet a bevándorlási többlet, valamint a mennyiségileg túlméretezett felsőoktatás kényes problémái megoldásának gondos előkészítésére.
